Writings of Judy Womack

Early mornings are my favorite times to write. It's the time when my head is most clear and my thoughts have not yet become encumbered with the happenings of the day.  The still of the morning is comforting.  I awaken and go quietly down the stairs  to make myself a cup of tea - or coffee - whatever my preference of the day may be. I light a candle and proceed into the living room where I sit in my favorite chair, away from my office and my computer. It is a high-backed chair, in the corner, by the fireplace. And on the hearth, right beside me, are my favorite books for morning reading. It is here that I pour out my deepest thoughts and feelings upon paper, with my favorite pen - a fountain pen, of course, with real ink (no ballpoints for me).
